Meeting
the artist

She is a graduate (with honors) of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), with distinction and excellence, and holds an MSC in Fine Arts.
A first look at the work and her artistic philosophy
She lives and works in Greece and often visits foreign countries to participate in exhibitions and artistic events. She has a special love for nature, from which she draws inspiration for her works.
Her works are interpreted by her as "traces" in painting, creating a rhythm through the lines that constitute her unique personal writing in each of her works.
Both man and his environment are susceptible to alterations and tend to be forgotten over time. However, art can preserve living and non-living "traces" throughout the centuries, since images are often symbolic recordings of situations and emotions.
Although she does not like to characterize her works according to various influences and movements, her work could nevertheless be included in the expressionist movement, as she emphasizes writing, dense content and intense colors.
Many times her works exude a threatening dimension, while through the intensity of the lines and the movement of the forms and elements of nature, dominant personal emotions are captured.
Perhaps even the artist's metaphysical anxieties are expressed that make the viewer participate by being "attacked" by the deconstructed forms and "lost" within the color field of the work.
The artist herself describes her work as "transparent work without apology" and considers her work to be perpetual, constantly transforming, seeking completeness within its imperfection.
Artist's
statements
I am a disciplined and creative professional with a passion for contemporary art in painting and also familiar with printmaking and mosaics as part of the additional special courses I took at university.
At a young age I participated in many types of art, such as photography, Japanese manga and cosplay, as well as visits to museums, archaeological sites and painting exhibitions.
All these activities enabled me to apply a wide range of skills such as photo editing as well as shaping my art in terms of aesthetically correct placement of works in an exhibition.
My recent involvement in teaching art in primary education has taught me to convey and communicate my thoughts to my students.
My main goal and noble ambition is to provide a way for students to express their ideas, concerns and their dreams and emotions in the most creative and healthy way: the "fine arts"!
Excellent communication
During my university studies I was able to demonstrate my skills through painting, along with projecting my ideas and perceptions, to many people online using my artwork combined with my personal photos from cosplaying performances.
Critical Thinking
From all the years that I have been practicing my artistic skills, I believe that the most crucial part in this field, regardless of the skills for an artist, is to have a broad mind, to feel the pulse of what he hears and sees around him and to be in a continuous process of learning, constantly practicing his techniques and thus evolving himself and his art. Attending university has helped me increase my critical thinking and has allowed me to more easily understand abstract concepts.
Adaptability
My recent experience painting for clients has made me adaptable to a variety of painting styles and environments. My goal is to expand my knowledge and skills to new subjects and techniques.
