Pioneering Free Artwork Stretching to Empower Global Artists
This initiative is made possible through the collaboration between the London Art Biennale and its external partners, who have collectively absorbed the associated costs. By providing this service, the Biennale reaffirms its commitment to supporting the global artistic community and fostering cultural exchange.
For larger canvases, up to 250 cm, a nominal fee of £50 will apply. Artists also have the option to submit works that are already mounted or framed, according to their preference.
“We are thrilled to introduce this supportive measure for the upcoming edition,” said Roberto Gagliardi. “Our goal is to make the London Art Biennale as accessible as possible, enabling artists from all corners of the globe to participate without the burden of prohibitive transportation costs.”
The London Art Biennale is renowned for its diverse showcase of contemporary art, featuring over 300 artists from more than 60 nations. The event is free and open to the public from July 17 to 20, 2025, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with a rich array of artistic expressions.
